Souled Out Student Conferences

Each summer, Jonathan and Lisa Moore hosts hundreds of middle- and high-school students for a four-night conference at the Laguna Beach Chrisitan Retreat located in Panama City, Florida. (Learn more at www.SouledOutConferences.com.)

This year, TeamJOHN made a generous contribution to Souled Out Ministries. TeamJOHN provided a copy of the Matthew video from which clips were used at various times throughout the Conference. In addition, each Youth Pastor was provided a copy of the Matthew DVD for use in local Bible studies, Small Groups, Sunday School classes and other Youth Group activities.

It is our prayer that these DVDs will help viewers better understand God’s love for them and kindle a desire to dig deeper into His Word.

Encounter Jesus Weekend DVD

The main meetings held during the Encounter Jesus weekend were professionally video taped and a two-disc DVD set was produced so we could share Bruce's message with the world.

The two-disc set is available for purchase from TeamJOHN Columbus for $25 which includes shipping and handling.

Proceeds from the sales of the DVDs will be used to help fund the production of The Gospel According to John. 

A Note From Bruce Marchiano

I participated in a special event in Columbus, GA that was organized by David Lovett, one of our TeamJOHN supporters. The "Encounter Jesus" weekend was hosted at Wynnton United Methodist Church, with the help of their Pastor and many fellow believers.

This special event brought the community together for a time of worship and outreach, providing an opportunity for me to first and foremost minister the love of Jesus, and then in a Saturday morning meeting, share the vision for JOHN with the people of Columbus. This is what I felt the Lord ’showing’ me in terms of how he would birth JOHN — everyday believers taking hold of the vision and running with it.

TeamJOHN Columbus has organized a strong JOHN awareness/funding team. They have built their own web site and is moving in a concerted effort among their churches and community.

Marchiano Ministries is very excited about this effort. So needless to say, the Columbus Team is now a significant part of the JOHN effort and I would humbly ask you to specifically back them in prayer. Most immediately right now, let us pray that the Lord leads and gives them favor in following up the weekend’s Saturday morning JOHN event — the first we’ve ever had — which was very well attended due to their hard work and effort.

May God give them favor and even more JOHN ideas as they run with it unto the salvation of souls. Let us also pray that more brothers and sisters take hold of the vision in their own communities - all across America and the world. This is what JOHN needs — more of “Columbus, GA”!
